Fundraising

FOBBS raise money in many different way, for example:

• car boot sales

• barn sales

• presentations to groups and churches

• benefice services at local churches

• kind donations from individuals, local organisations, businesses and schools

• African drum/dance evening

• raffles

Please note that ALL monies raised go directly to the project. Funds are transferred to the school’s account at the Trust Bank, The Gambia. The only costs incurred are bank transfer charges.

Forthcoming Event:

Weekend Sale 5/6th September From 10am to 4pm - Undercover if wet!
at Horsemarling Farm, Standish, Stonehouse, Glos GL10 3BT

On sale will be a good selection of bric-a-brac, cd/dvds, toys and small items of furniture. There will also be local produce, cakes, plants etc.

If anyone has items they wish to donate, we would be extremely grateful. Items can either be dropped off at Horsemarling Farm, or we can pick up within a 10 mile radius of Stroud. Please contact Pat on 01453 791 589 or 07730 659 786.
